Every year in Quebec, more than 300 children are diagnosed with cancer. While 80% of them recover, 1 in 5 still faces the limits of what medicine can do. Together with the Fondation Charles-Bruneau—the foundational partner of the Centre de cancérologie Charles-Bruneau at CHU Sainte‑Justine—an entire ecosystem is joining forces to grow beyond the status quo for every young patient. Because one child left without a solution is one too many.

As a loyal partner of the CHU Sainte‑Justine Foundation, Leucan plays a key role in ensuring access to clinical trials, particularly for rare and difficult-to-treat cancers. Since 2008, the Leucan Information Centre has also been providing families with specialized resources and support to help minimize uncertainty and break the cycle of isolation throughout their journey.

For 20 years now, the Cole Foundation’s deep commitment has included support for CHU Sainte‑Justine’s social services department. By matching donations from the public, its generosity provides tangible assistance to families affected by cancer, helping cover expenses such as travel to the hospital and other essential daily costs.

An ally of the CHU Sainte‑Justine Foundation for nearly 40 years, CIBC has dedicated funding specifically to oncology research for the past decade. Its visionary support has, in particular, made it possible to recruit leading researchers whose work is driving vital discoveries and transforming diagnostic approaches.
Diane Blais and Michel Lanteigne
In 2022, the historic $40 million gift from Diane Blais and Michel Lanteigne marked a watershed moment for pediatric research. Among other things, their transformative gift has made it possible to establish the Innovative Oncology and Hematology Treatment Development Fund, accelerating the development of new therapeutic approaches and expanding access to them for children with cancer.
iA Financial Group
Last year, after 40 years of supporting the health of Quebec’s mothers and children, iA Financial Group chose to begin its next chapter in philanthropy with CHU Sainte‑Justine by allocating a significant portion of its new commitment to a matching fund to advance innovative cancer therapies.
Hyundai Canada
In 2025, the 226 Hyundai dealers across Canada joined forces through the Hope On Wheels program to change the face of cancer. As a result, an initial donation of $1 million was made to the CHU Sainte‑Justine Foundation, notably to support the work of the Unité de recherche clinique en hématologie-oncologie-immunologie (URCHOI).
