In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, you have the following options to make a donation to the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation: online, by mail (cheque or credit card), or by phone at 514-345-4710.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept in-person donations at Foundation headquarters at this time, as our offices are closed until further notice. However, our team continues to give their all while working from home.

When will I receive my income tax receipt?

If you donate online, your tax receipt will automatically be emailed to you.

For other types of donations, we do our best to ensure that you have your tax receipt within two weeks of your donation being received. However, you can expect the process to take longer during the busiest times of year, such as Christmas and Easter.

If you donated before December 31, you’ll receive a receipt for the fiscal year in question. If you donate monthly by preauthorized debit, credit card or cheque, you will only receive one tax receipt that includes your total donations for the year. It will be sent out prior to March 1 of the subsequent year.

You can contact our team for more information on consolidated tax receipts.

Please be aware that, given the current COVID-19 situation and government restrictions, the Foundation is not allowing events that involve any kind of gathering until further notice.

Instead, the Foundation encourages you to organize an online fundraising event through its web platform. To begin, you’ll need to fill out the registration form to be approved by the Foundation’s team.

Once your activity has been approved, a member of our team will contact you with information on how to proceed.

If you would like to submit an idea for an in-person fundraising event at a later date, the first step is to fill out the registration form. After your application has been received and approved, a member of the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation team will gladly be in touch to guide you through the process.
