In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, you have the following options to make a donation to the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation: online, by mail (cheque or credit card), or by phone at 514-345-4710.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept in-person donations at Foundation headquarters at this time, as our offices are closed until further notice. However, our team continues to give their all while working from home.

When will I receive my tax receipt?

If you made a donation online, your tax receipt is attached to the donation confirmation email you will automatically receive. If this is not the case, please fill out the tax receipt form available via this same confirmation email. Once you submit the online form, your tax receipt will automatically be emailed to you.

If you choose the monthly donation option, your receipt will be emailed to you early next year.

For other types of donations (cash and cheque), if you choose to receive your receipt by email, we will make sure to send you your tax receipt within four weeks of receiving your donation. If you opt to receive your receipt by mail, it will be sent to you at the beginning of next year.

Keep in mind that your receipt may end up in your junk mail folder by mistake. If you do not receive it, please call us at 514-345-4710 (toll free: 1-888-235-3667) or email us at fondation@fondationstejustine.org.

The Foundation’s policy is to systematically issue tax receipts for donations of $20 or more made in person, by phone or by mail. For donations under $20 that were made in person, by phone or by mail, a tax receipt can be issued upon request. For gifts received via one of our digital platforms, a receipt will be emailed to you if you have filled out the tax receipt form.

Depending on your situation, you may be eligible to claim up to 50% of your contribution as a charitable tax credit. This credit is a non-refundable tax credit.

Please be aware that, given the current COVID-19 situation and government restrictions, the Foundation is not allowing events that involve any kind of gathering until further notice.

Instead, the Foundation encourages you to organize an online fundraising event through its web platform. To begin, you’ll need to fill out the registration form to be approved by the Foundation’s team.

Once your activity has been approved, a member of our team will contact you with information on how to proceed.

If you would like to submit an idea for an in-person fundraising event at a later date, the first step is to fill out the registration form. After your application has been received and approved, a member of the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation team will gladly be in touch to guide you through the process.
