After completing her residency and subspecialty training in pediatric intensive care at Sainte-Justine, where she plans to continue her career, Dr. Camille Jutras aims to further her expertise in both medicine and management.

In 2022, thanks to a matching scholarship, she began clinical training in extracorporeal therapies at Boston Children’s Hospital while pursuing an MBA at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, specializing in the optimization of healthcare resources.

“This scholarship opened the door to world-renowned programs. I was able to choose the curriculum best suited to my needs and those of Sainte-Justine. When I get back, I’ll have the chance to contribute to the hospital’s excellence. I couldn’t be more grateful!“

Dr. Anissa Lahfafa, a Belgian paediatrician, has been receiving support from the Foundation thanks to your generosity since the start of her training as an international pediatric intensive care fellow at Sainte-Justine (2021–2024). She is also currently enrolled in the Clinical Ethics program at the Université de Montréal

With dedicated time to participate in research projects, she is actively involved in improving the quality of care in the unit by advocating for the early mobilization of children and limiting blood sampling while they are hospitalized.

“A scholarship from the Foundation is an acknowledgment of the value of our work and our commitment to Sainte-Justine. At the end of my three years in Montreal, I’ll have benefited from a wide array of incredible experiences. None of this would have been possible without your support.”
